Ireland's Trans Athletes

Cameron Keighron is one of the first openly trans athletes in Ireland. The 23-year-old from Sligo, living in Galway for five years, received his legal documents from the state earlier this year, having begun this part of the process over a year ago. He competes in fencing and is hoping to qualify for the Olympics in 2024. Cameron speaks openly about coming out to his team mates and how they have supported him.
